The English Rondeau Trecet, noun, a 15-line variant style of poetry

My precious winter love,

With snow such a precious white,

Seeing you is a beautiful sight

As pure and innocent as a lovely, flying young dove

My dear, you perfect delight

My precious winter love,

With snow such a precious white.

For how much is one able to take in of

Such a fair, beauty, just what a sight

To be torn away from it is but contrite

My precious winter love,

With snow such a precious white,

Seeing you is a beautiful sight
